The mixing shaft is the central component of every plastering machine. It is used to mix the dry material and water and drives the pump unit. Knauf PFT has a wide range of products for you, as thin plaster has different requirements than, for example, insulating plaster. In order to achieve maximum efficiency, different models are designed either for high mixing intensity or for creating high pressing pressure. A common feature of all PFT mixing shafts is the Knauf PFT BIONIK optimization system. The advantage lies in the special design of the components. This significantly reduces wear and tear on a heavily loaded transmission and provides a longer service life.
Advantages:
- The BIONIK form ensures reliable use
- The contact area is increased by 9.7 times
- The BIONIK shape helps to unwind the cardan movement in the drive system
- The BIONIK shape reduces the progression of wear in the axial direction -
- Absence of axial displacement of the rotor in the stator and the associated decrease in pump performance
- Extended service life of high-stress parts such as mixing shaft and drawbar
- Pump pressure remains constant longer
- Better motor shaft protection
Economical and permanent – PFT BIONIK INSIDE for comprehensive wear protection in the transmission.
Mixing intensity
Indicates the degree of mixing that can be achieved with the mixing shaft. (AAA: very high level of mixing)
Pressure intensity
Describes the transport behavior to the pump. The material is pressed down through the large contact surface of the mixer lever.
