Engine oil Shell Rimula R4 L 15W-40 is made on a mineral basis and is intended for diesel engines of trucks and other heavy equipment operating under increased loads.

Engine oil Shell Rimula R4 L 15W-40 belongs to "Group II"; of base oils that have undergone particularly thorough cleaning and contains a package of the latest Low-SAPS additives, which retain their protective qualities even under extreme operating conditions, which are characteristic of engines of the latest models that meet environmental standards.

Therefore, this lubricant outperforms oils of previous generations, for example, API CI-4 and ACEA E7, in terms of such indicators as increasing the wear resistance of engine parts and preventing the accumulation of their deposits. In addition, it better retains its optimal consistency and does not thicken at elevated temperatures.
