Primer Knauf Grundiermittel (Grundirmittel) is a vapor-permeable, alkali-resistant primer-concentrate of yellow color based on an aqueous polymer dispersion. Does not contain solvents and volatile substances.
Scope
Knauf Grundiermittel primer is intended for preliminary treatment of hygroscopic surfaces, for example, gas and foam concrete, ceramic and silicate bricks, expanded clay and cinder blocks, gypsum and cement plasters. Effectively reduces and regulates the absorbing capacity of the surface, promotes uniform setting of solutions of gypsum and cement building mixtures.
Used for surface treatment:
- before applying gypsum and cement plasters;
- before installation of gypsum plasterboards using KNAUF Perlfix gypsum glue;
- before laying facing tiles using tile adhesive;
- when installing gypsum screeds. For internal and external works.
- Dilution with water in the ratio from 1: 1 to 1: 5
