Description

The straight protective plate is used inside the barrels of Brinkmann and BMS equipment to shield the metal surface from contact with the solution. During the operation of the machine, the material exerts constant mechanical and abrasive forces on the walls of the barrel, thus the armor absorbs part of this load.

The part has a flat rectangular shape with a slight rounding on one edge and two mounting holes. The thickness of the plate is 6 mm. The holes are located at the edges and are used to secure the armor in the designated place.

The plate is classified as a wear part of the barrel and should be replaced in the event of significant wear. Installing a new armor allows for the restoration of the protective layer on the inner surface and extends the operation of the barrel without replacing its main structure.
